Privacy Policy

Imperion doesn't record your meetings. It saves the notes you choose to speak after a meeting, turns them into text, then deletes the audio right away. We keep only the text, we don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and you can delete your account whenever you want.
Imperion is a voice-first tool for people who live in meetings: sales reps, real estate agents, architects, brokers, and anyone who needs to remember what was said. You record a short voice note after a meeting, and Imperion turns it into a clean contact record: who you met, what was said, your follow-ups, and prep for next time. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have.
Imperion is built and operated by Marko Lazic (sole proprietor), based in Novi Sad, Serbia. If you have a question about your data, email support@imperion.app.
What Imperion does, and doesn't do
Imperion captures your own notes after a meeting. You tap record, you speak, you stop. That recording is the only audio it takes.
It does not record live meetings, and it does not listen in the background. There's no bot, no always-on microphone, no call recording.
What we collect
Your account
When you sign up, we store your email address and name. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive a basic profile (name and email) from them so we can create your account. We use Supabase for sign-in and storage.
Your voice recording
When you record a note, the audio is sent to OpenAI to turn your speech into text. The moment the transcript is ready, the audio is deleted from your phone. We don't store your audio, on your device or on our servers. The recording exists only long enough to become text.
Your notes
What we keep is the text: the transcript and the structured notes built from it. That includes contacts, companies, projects, follow-up tasks, and the details you mention. These are stored on our servers so you can reach them on your phone.
Notes about other people
Because Imperion saves notes about the people you meet, those notes can include other people's details: names, roles, and things they told you. You're responsible for handling that information lawfully, the same way you would with a notebook or any CRM. Don't record anything you're not allowed to keep.
Subscription
If you subscribe, Apple handles the payment through the App Store. We receive your subscription status so we can give you access. We never see or store your card details.
On your device
The app keeps a few things on your phone, like your remaining free recordings and your reminder schedule. Reminders are created on your device, not on a server.
What we don't collect
We don't keep your audio. We don't track your location today either. If we add the optional location reminder described in the app, we'll ask your permission first and update this policy.
We don't use third-party advertising or tracking, and we don't sell your data. Ever.
Who processes your data for us
We use a small set of trusted providers to run the app:
- OpenAI: transcribes your recording and structures the text into a contact record. They process your content to provide that feature and don't use it to train their models.
- Supabase: stores your account and your notes, and handles secure sign-in. Each account can only read its own data.
- Google: only if you choose Sign in with Google.
- Apple: only if you choose Sign in with Apple, and for App Store subscription billing.
That's the full list. We don't share your data with anyone else.
Where your data lives
Your account and notes are stored with Supabase, and transcription runs through OpenAI, both based in the United States. Your audio isn't stored anywhere, it's deleted as soon as it becomes text. If you use Imperion from outside the US, the text we process is handled in the US. We rely on standard data-protection terms with these providers.
How long we keep it
We keep your text for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and everything on our servers from inside the app: open your profile and tap Delete Account. That removes your saved contacts and your sign-in record, and it's permanent. There's no audio to remove, it was already deleted the moment it was transcribed.
Your rights
You can see, correct, export, or delete your data. Most of it you can manage directly in the app. For anything else, email support@imperion.app and we'll help.
If you're in the EU or UK, you have rights under the GDPR: access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection. If you're in California, you have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete. We hold every user to the same standard. We don't sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of there.
Security
We protect your data in transit with encryption (HTTPS), and our database only lets your account read its own rows. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute protection, but we take it seriously and keep our setup tight.
Children
Imperion is a tool for working professionals. It's not directed to anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For anything significant, we'll let you know in the app.
